Tuned for cross country performance, the compact, powerful YZ250FX engine features a high-spec piston, aggressive cam profiles and forward positioned intake cylinder head layout. The advanced four-stroke engine is known for its broad, useable powerband and class-leading low-end and mid-range torque.

Yamaha's free, downloadable, and industry-leading Power Tuner App brings the flexibility and precision of the GYTR® Power Tuner straight to your smartphone. Dial in fueling and ignition timing changes on the app, then instantly upload them to your bike for ultimate trackside tuning. Features include an intuitive "Simple Tuning" slide bar for engine mapping, four-level Traction Control and Launch Control tuning, a lap timer, and helpful engine and suspension tuning guides.
